Alannah's first bites

Alannah got to try her first bites of real food! (Although I have my doubts about baby rice cereal being "real food.") Her big sister was right there to help as well.

Chuckie Cheese adventure!!

We took the kids to Chuckie Cheese's pizza parlor last week. It was a special treat for EMberlea for being a good girl while mama and daddy looked at houses. It was really fun for her. She didn't know what to do with so many things to look at and games to play. She was a little apprehensive about the climbing tube, but liked the little carousel. She also got to play a few arcade games. Mama and Daddy took turns taking her around, but she got to plug in the game tokens ("money" to Ember) in the slots. The highlight of her evening was getting a magic wand with red and blue LED lights by cashing out her tickets she earned from her games. It's still a favorite for her and she insists upon lighting it up in her darkened bedroom each night before bedtime.
